Wyoming Team, Hurt Heading To District Girls' Golf


The Division II Girls' Golf Sectional Championships were held at Hamilton Elks Golf Course Monday.  The top four teams and four individuals not on those teams qualify for the districts.

Wyoming finished 3rd with a score of 395 (top 4 golfers).  Samara Dulin tied for 2nd with a 18 hole score of 88.  Sophia Dulin was tied for 12th (94).  Lilly Marty & Maddie McMonigal rounding out the Cowboy scoring.  Caroline Rummer was the 5th golfer.  Lainey Hurt of Mariemont competed an an individual.  She finished  tied for 2nd overall with a 88 and was the top individual to qualify for district.  Indian Hill was 6th.  Piper Isgrig was the top golfer for the Braves.  Madeira was 8th.  Katy Dimmitt was the top golfer for the Amazons.  Taylor will compete next week in Division I.
The Division II District Championships will be on Wednesday, October 7th at the Pipestone Golf Course.  The first tee times will be 8:30.
