Website Update, July 20

It's been a quiet summer for the CHL Website. As we get closer to August, we will be updating more.

One change in our athletic directors this coming school year.  Matt Haskamp has resigned from his position at Indian Hill.  Matt will be starting his own business and spending more time with family.  Replacing him will be Brian Phelps.  Brian might be a familiar name to some as he was the Seven Hills AD for several years.  Look for more info on Brian next week.

As this web report is being posted, schools are still making decisions on the upcoming school year.  Without a doubt, this is the most challenging times our school
administrators have ever seen.  Likewise, the fall sports season is still up in the air despite the fact official practices start in two weeks on August 1st.  All sports have been cleared for conditioning and are scheduled for the August 1st start.  There are many scenarios on how the fall sports season will look.  We will continue to update you on any decisions that are being made.

Meanwhile, we will start posted fall schedules and hope they will take place.

Earlier this summer, the Sports awards were announced.  Three athletes from the CHL were honored.
Maddie Antenucci (Indian Hill) was named the Girls' Small School Basketball Player of the Year.
Isaiah Walker (Wyoming) was named the Boys' Small School Basketball Player of the Year.
Evan Prater (Wyoming) was named the Small School Football Player of the Year.  Evan was also named the overall Athlete of the Year.
Maddie will be continuing her basketball career at Florida Gulf Coast University.  Evan will continue his football career at the University of Cincinnati.
Isiah will continue his basketball career as a senior at Wyoming HS.
