Two Wrestlers Statebound

The CHL will be sending two wrestlers to the state championships.  One other wrestler will be an alternate.  The top four wrestlers in each weight class qualify for state.  the 5th place wrestler is the alternate in case someone in the top four cannot wrestled at the next level.

In the Division II District at Wilmington,  Wyoming finished 6th.  Indian Hill was 30th.  C.J. Hester (Wyoming) was the highest lace league wrestler in both Division II & III.  Hester was 2nd in the 138 weight class.  Teammate Nathan Bryan was 4th at 145.

The Division III District was at Hobart Arena in Troy.  Reading was 22nd, Madeira 31st, & Deer Park 35th.  The highest place league wrestler was Ramakrishna Ghandi (Madeira).  He was 5th in the 113 weight class.

There is a little bit of change in the dates for the state
tournament this year.  It will be held on Friday, Saturday, & Sunday at the Schottenstein Center on the campus of Ohio State.
