Southwest Ohio Basketball Officials School

If you are interested in being a basketball official, there is great way for you get your start.  The Southwest Ohio Basketball School, in its 27th year, will have classes starting on November 18th.  There are six classes over a period of a week that participants need to attend.   The locations and times are:
Monday, November 18 - 6-9PM Sharonville Library
Tuesday, November 19 - 5:30-9pm Green Township Library
Thursday, November 21 - 5:30-9pm Madeira Library
Saturday, November 23 - 8:30am - 5pm Mid America Ballyard, 2nd Floor (coffee/lunch included in all day session)
Sunday, November 24 - 1-5pm North Central Library
Monday, November 25 - 4-8:30pm Reading Middle School
The OHSAA has approved this 25 hour course so you should plan to attend all sessions.  This will prepare you for recreation basketball all the way through high school basketball.  Most people who attend are adults but high school students at least 14 years old can participate in the classes.  Hundreds of officials have been trained over the years.  The cost is $125.00 which includes all instruction, books, materials, and continental breakfast & lunch at the all day session.
