Track & Field State Meet Results

There are two other track & field stories.  Here are the athletes from Saturday that are not mentioned in those other stories. 

Here are Friday results:
Division II Girls
In the one running final, Indian Hill was 6th place in the 4 x 800 Relay in a school record time of 9:29.59.  Members were Meghan O'Brien, Claudia Hollander, Amy Prugh, & Elizabeth Whaley.
Indian Hill athletes qualified for the finals in five events.  Anna Podojil qualified in four events.  Podojil will run in the finals in 100 Dash (12.29), 400 Dash (55.55), & 200 Dash (24.70).  She is seeded 1st in the 400, 2nd in the 200, & 7th in 100.  The difference between 1st & 7th is .3 second.  Podojil is also on the 1st seeded 4 x 400 Relay (3:57.88).  Other members are Meghan O'Brien, Ellie Podojil, & Elizabeth Whaley.  Ellie also will be in the 300 Hurdle finals.  Her time of 44.63 is seeded 2nd.  Louisa Klaserner (Indian Hill) did not make the finals in the 100 Hurdles (16.13).  Not making a podium finish in High Jump was Marin Valentine of Mariemont.
Division III 
The only D3 athlete was sophomore Yvonne Colson of Madeira. Colson was in the discus.  Her best throw was 122'8, not making the podium.

Division II Boys
In the 4 x 800 Relay finals, Madeira was 8th with a school record time of 8:05.14.  Members were Dylan Whitson, Diego Arredondo, Ben Cunningham, & Ben Ramos.  Indian Hill had time of 8:13.84. Members were Ben Bayless, Tommy Tauer, Nolan Heffernan, & Alex Galbraith.
Jonah Dill of Mariemont qualified for the finals in the 300 Hurdles.  Dill is the 4th seed with only .8 second the difference between 1st & 4th.  He did not qualified for the finals in the 110 Hurdles (15.56).

Saturday Results Division II Girls
In the 1600 Run, Tiffany Chen of Wyoming was 12th with a time of 5:17.93
In the 800 Run, Elizabeth Whaley was 10th in 2:20.53
Division II Boys
Two Indian Hill runners had podium finishes.  Senior Ben Bayless  ended a great running career in 5th place in the 3200 Run.  His time was 9:40.11.  Junior Alex Galbraith was 7th in the 800 Run in a school record 1:56.64.
Luke Henke of Wyoming cleared the opening height of 6' in the High Jump and placed 17th.  Jonah Dill of Mariemont just missed the podium with a 9th place in the 300 Hurdles (39.64).  Jack Schwartz of Wyoming had a time of 4:36.01 in the 1600 Run.  Diego Arredondo of Madeira had a season best of 2:00.77 in the 800 Run.
