Website Update - Monday Evening

A reminder that the website has a lot of stories this time of the season. Some are active stories below the five that can be viewed.

CHL girls' basketball came to an end.  Indian Hill lost to Roger Bacon in the Division II sectional final.

Boys' basketball winners over the weekend were Indian Hill, Mariemont, & Wyoming.  Sectional play continues this week.

Chelsea Hammer of Deer Park will be at the state bowling championships in Columbus on Friday.  She is the first girl from the CHL to make it to the bowling state championships.

Twenty five wrestlers will be at the district championships Friday & Saturday.  Division II will be in Wilmington & Division III in Troy.

All-League selections are now posted for girls & boys basketball.  The only sport we do not have all league is bowling.  It should be up in the next few days.

Baseball & softball schedules are now posted.  They are subject to change.  The other spring schedules will be posted during the month of March.

The consolation finalist at the state swimming/diving championships are now posted in the state swimming story.

What a week at Canton for our swimmers & divers!  Many podium finishes including three individual state championships.  The big news was Mariemont's Cora Dupre.  Dupre was named the Division II state meet MVP.  She had two state championships, one state record, and two other podium finishes.  Her five individual state titles over the last three years is the most of any athlete in CHL history.  In her four years of varsity swimming, Dupre has been to the state championships every year.  She has swum in 16 events in the 4 years.  Of those 16 events, she was on the podium 14 times.  Seven of her medals were for relays and seven for individual events.  Her breakdown is five gold, four silver, four bronze, & one 4th place.  Of the two times she missed a podium finish, one time she was 9th (winning the consolation final), and once on a relay team that was DQ.  Its hard to believe any other CHL athlete has done that well at a the state championship level.
