Much of the same info as the Wednesday update, but with cross country added.  Madeira soccer has been updated along with the new date for the state cross country meet.  Check this story back later on Thursday for that information.
Soccer, football, & cross country are still going.  Friday and Saturday will be busy days for those teams.

Girls' Soccer - Indian Hill will be in the regional finals for the 2nd straight year.  The Braves are defending D2 state champs. Their game with Alter will be at noon Saturday at Lebanon Junior High School

Boys' Soccer - Madeira will be in the regional finals for the 1st time since 2012. They will play Dayton Christian Saturday at Hamilton High School at 3:00.

Four football teams are in post season.
Deer Park is in Division VI.  The #8 seeded Wildcats are in the playoffs for the first time since 2007 and the 3rd time overall. They will be on the road at #1 seed Coldwater on Friday at 7:00.
Madeira, #4 seed, is in Division IV.  This is their 1st time since 2014.  That year ended a 4 year run in the playoffs for the Mustangs.  It is their 9th overall time.  Madeira has never won a playoff game but their home field advantage against #5 Jamestown Greenview gives them a good chance to get that first win. The game will be Saturday at 7:00.
Indian Hill is a 4th seed in Division IV.  They will have home game against #5 Waverly. It is the 4th year in a row for the Braves.  It is the 2nd time Indian Hill has had a 4 year streak in the playoffs and it their 12th overall.  The game will be Saturday at 7:00.
Wyoming, the #1 seed, will play #8 Springfield Northeastern at home on Saturday in Division IV.  The Cowboys finished the season the #1 ranked team in D4 in Ohio.  They have been in the playoffs 6 years in a row and 24 all time in the school's history.  The Cowboys have four final four appearances.  The last one was in 2009.  They have won a state championship in 1977 & were runner-up in 1975.  Their game will be on Saturday at 7:00.

Cross Country state championships will be held on Saturday, November 10 at National Trail Raceway east of Columbus.  Madeira boys' are making a repeat trip back to state.  The Mustangs finished 15th last year.  It is the 8th time to state as a team.  Nine runners will be competing  as individuals.  Of the 16 total runners, 8 of them have been at the state meet before.
Riley Bahr of Wyoming has the most experience for the girls.  She has been at the state meet in 2017 with her Wyoming team and in 2016 as an individual. Last year she finished 22nd.
Ben Bayless of Indian Hill has the most experience for the boys. He was 19th as an individual last year and was on the Indian Hill team in 2016.  Teammate Nolan Heffernan was on the 2016 team.
Jack Schwartz (Wyoming) & Nick Lake (Taylor) were individuals last year.
Diego Arredondo, Ben Ramos, & Joseph Kirby were on the Madeira team from last year.
Hannah Korte (Taylor), Elizabeth Whaley (Indian Hill), Jessica Sanders (Finneytown), Dylan Whitson (Madeira), Jacob Gaffney (Madeira), Luke Mitchell (Madeira), & Calvin Busch (Madeira) will all be making their first appearance at state. Whaley, Sanders, & Gaffney are freshmen.  Check the cross country story for start times and more information.
Cross  Country trivia fact - Ben Bayless came in 5th in his first race of the season.  Since then, the senior has been undefeated, including a league title, district title, & regional title!

Finally, two football trivia facts:
Only 13 other schools in Ohio have been to the football playoffs more than Wyoming.
Of the 28 league football games this season, 23 were decided by two touchdowns or more.  Of the five games that were less than two touchdowns, Deer Park was in four of them.
