Story Complete

Wyoming is league champs for the 3rd year in a row.  For the 3rd year in a row they have a 7-0 league mark. The Cowboys are 10-0 overall with a 31 game regular season win streak going, the longest in Ohio. They have won 22 league games in a row.  This is their 5th league title in the last 6 years and their 17th in the CHL.  And to put the "icing on the cake" they finished #1 in the state in Division IV!  Indian Hill finished with 6-1 league record & 8-2 overall. Deer Park & Madeira both finished the regular season with 7-3 overall records.  All four of these teams have made the playoffs.

Our SID Game of the Week was a close one until mid way through the 3rd quarter when Evan Prater 12 yard run put Wyoming up by 9 points.  The Cowboys never looked back as they went on to win 37-7 over Indian Hill to claim the league title. Quarterback Evan Prater had another great game with 342 total yards offense.  He was 8 for 18 for 154 yards passing with Two TD passes.  His scoring passes were to Cam O'Gara for 9 yards & Joey Edmonds 27 yards.  Prater had 188 yards rushing. besides his 3rd quarter 12 yard TD, he had another scoring run for 35 yards in the same quarter. Pierson Rogers had a 4 yard scoring run.  O'Gara was credited with a safety.  AJ Washienko was 5 for 5 in PAT kicks.  Indian Hill's scoring came on a 2nd quarter Cole Dein to Amari Whitehead pass for 6 yards.

Deer Park & Mariemont came into week 10 with both teams having an outside chance for the playoffs.  As it turned out, one did make it in.  Deer Park scored 1st on a Joe Hocker 8 yard run & Eric Hamilton PAT.  It stayed 7-0 Wildcats till the 4th quarter.  Deer Park's Dae'von Bryant score from 12 yards out & with the Hamilton PAT, Deer Park was up 14-0.  Mariemont made it interesting.  Wally Renie hooked up with his favorite receiver Charlie Cowart for a 22 yard score.  But the Warriors would get no closer as Deer Park closed out their best season in 11 years with a 14-7 win and trip to the playoffs.

Madeira came into the game 5th place in the Harbins.  A win a some help from other schools could move them into 4th and home game.  The Mustangs started the game with 24 unanswered points and went on to down Taylor 45-14.  Madeira had 446 yards rushing with three players having over 100 yards.  Johnathan Thiele had 158 yards rushing with touchdown runs of 45, 15, & 5 yards.  Ryan Hamm had 104 yards rushing including a 61 yard TD run..  Nicholas Groom had a 24 yard interception return for a score. Although he had no touchdown runs, QB Tyler Richmond had 152 yards rushing including a 56 yard run.  Ryan Lienhart had a 29 yard field goal and was 6 for 6 in PAT kicks.  Jared Walpole had two TD passes for Taylor.  His first one for 12 yards was from Jose Gonzalez. The second one was for 30 yards from Tyler Embry.  Delaney Day closed out her high school kicking career going 2 for 2 in PAT kicks.  Madeira did get the win and help to move into 4th in Harbins.

Reading has an interesting season.  After losing over a dozen key seniors form last year's playoff team, the Blue Devils were in the rebuilding mode this season.  A couple of breaks and they could have gone 6-4.  They did end up 4-6 with a 30-0 win over Finneytown.  Cole Baker was 13 for 21 passing for 152 yards & 4 TD passes.  Game Van Skaik caught two for 5 & 3 yards.  Tanner Cromer caught one for 4 yards and Alijah Caught had one for 32 yards.  Keonte Sanders had 122 yards rushing a 1 yard scoring run.  Despite missing almost 2 full games this season, Baker need up with over 1300 yards passing & 15 TD passes.
