Bowling Becomes Newest League Sport

Boys' and girls' bowling will officially become a league sport this winter season.  It will be the first new sport for the league in 18 years.  Before this season, the last sport to be added was boys' and girls' swimming & diving in December of 1999.  For a sport to become a league sport, at least five schools must have teams.  In past years, Deer Park, Reading, Taylor (boys), & Wyoming have had teams but they were considered non-league.  Schools that will have bowling teams this season are Deer Park, Mariemont, Reading, Taylor, & Wyoming.

Although we have covered bowling in past years as a non-league sport on the website, we welcome the teams to full league status!
