Indian Hill Girls' Soccer, State Champs!

11/10/2017

Indian Hill completed an undefeated season by winning the Division II State Girls' Soccer Championship 2-0 over Lake Catholic.  The Braves (22-0-1) captured their first state title in girls' soccer.  They were state runner-ups in 2003 & 2004. Morgan Jackson scored a goal less than 90 seconds into the game.  At the 24 minute mark of the 1st half, Anna Podojil scored the Brave's 2nd goal.  As it would turn out, that would be all they needed. Kate Marrs had her 10th shut-out of the season. Indian Hill is the only D2 team in the state to go undefeated.  Their only tie of the season was 2-2 against Alter.  One of their wins was 3-2 over Summit Country Day won won the Division III state championship. Congratulations to Coach Amy Dunlap and the Braves' soccer team on the best season in school history!
