State Cross Country Results

A total of 18 runners from Indian Hill, Madeira, Taylor, & Wyoming made it to the state cross country championships.  That included the Wyoming girls and Madeira boys teams.  The meet was held at the National Trail Raceway east of Columbus.

In the Division II Girls, Wyoming finished 14th.  Junior Riley Bahr was the highest place finisher, coming in 22nd in 19:09.5.  Sophomore Tiffany Chen was 65th in 19:52. Freshman Peggy Moore ,senior Lily Parker, & junior Katy Vanatsky were the other three scorers.  Senior Lindsay Stewart & freshman Sylvia Coyle were the 6th & 7th runner s for the Cowboys.

In the Division II Boys, Madeira was 15th.  Sophomore Diego Arredondo led the way for the Mustangs with time of 17:03.  Senior Chet Dobson was close behind in 17:09.  The other three scorers for Madeira were junior Joseph Kirby, sophomore Ben Ramos, & sophomore Dylan Whitson.  Seniors David Grimm & Spenser Cox were the 6th & 7th runners for Madeira.  Nick Fox of Taylor was the highest finisher for the CHL.  The senior came in 12th with a time of 16:11.  Junior Ben Bayless of Indian Hill was 19th in 16:19.  Sophomore Nick Lake of Taylor was 63rd in 16:59.  Junior Jack Schwartz of Wyoming was 137th.
