Consecutive League Champ Streaks

03/20/2015

When the SID was doing some research on the wrestling & swim/dive meets, he got curious on the longest league championships in the different sports. There have been 18 championship consecutive win streaks of five or more years in 11 different sports. CHL league competition began in the fall of 1985 for all sports except boys' & girls' swimming & diving and boys' & girls' bowling. Swimming/diving league titles started during the 1999-2000 school year. Bowling started in the 2017-2018 school year. The all time leader is Indian Hill girls' tennis.  They have won 24 straight league titles. The Indian Hill boys' tennis team holds the record for most league titles.  They have 32 of 34 titles (Wyoming won twice).  The longest current streak is Indian Hill girls' tennis.  They have won 24 in a row.
